I finally got around to joining the CRS recently. Based in Rotherham and founded in 1991, Martin Hudson and friends do an excellent job of promoting prog and prog-related music in the North of England, but you can join from anywhere in the world.

There's a professionally produced bi-monthly magazine (packed with old and new names, live and album reviews) and they've been putting on a lot of gigs up in Rotherham for a good few years now e.g. Credo and Pendragon in Sheffield recently to name two bazaar bands, other bigger and smaller prog names in the past.
